Regarding Project Vulture's effect of "All soldiers gain +3 Strength", I've tested the timing of the research - specifically, what happens to Soldiers who already have maximum Strength (35 in this case). - Maximum Encumberance doesn't change (stays at 35) - Maximum Hitpoints do change (increased by 30) - The new Strength value (of 38) is correctly displayed in the "Personnel" overview - The new Strength value is not correctly displayed in the detail view for the Soldier (the attribute bar for Strength still says 35/35) I think this is interesting because it poses the question: Do you want to wait with researching this until your Soldiers (or at least your primary squad) has hit maximum Strength, in order to get a little bit more maximum Hitpoints for them than normally possible - or do you research it right away to save SP. Also, unfortunately any new troops (tested by recruiting regular Soldiers and creating Mutoids) do not benefit from Project Vulture! Only those Soldiers and Mutoids you already have available at the time of finishing the research actually benefit from it. So you might want to make sure you have a sizeable pool of replacement troops ready when you do research it, in case a some of them end up dying down the line. All in all, that makes me think I want to hold off on researching Project Vulture immediately when it becomes available.
