Base Game

Explanation

Capacity means how many soldiers can be carried (1 vehicle is equal to 3 soldiers). Speed is in kilometers per hour. Geoscape distances are the same as on the Earth. Range means how far between two POIs aka sites can aircraft travel. Durability is in Hit Points.

Tiamat.png Tiamat has the highest capacity, durability and range (range can be increased further with Advanced Tiamat Development research) but lowest speed. Helios.png Helios has the highest speed but smallest capacity.

Aircraft can be repaired in Vehicle Bay facility. Manufacturing Aircraft can be fastened up by building more Fabrication plants. You can also steal aircraft from Factions. Why should you steal Helios. Steal aircraft mission type explained here.

Festering Skies DLC

Festering Skies DLC adds air combat and one more aircraft - Masked Manticore. It also adds weapons and modules that can be equipped on any of your aircraft. Each aircraft can have two weapons and one module.

Pandoran Flyers

There are 3 types of Pandoran flyers. They always carry the same ammount of weapons, has same number of Hit Points and award same number of Behemoth disruption points for destroying them. They can have different weapons.

Pandoran Aircraft Weapons

Pandorans do not use modules but only weapons. There are 6 Pandoran Aircraft Weapons and three of them use visual guidance. Visually targeted weapons can be countered by Afterburner module.
